SUSTRADER project presented during study visit in Kaunas
During the study
visit at Kaunas technical vocational education centre, Kaunas Science and
Technology Park presented SUSTRADER project: main aims, partnership consortium,
and good practices, demonstrated in Slovenia that are strengthening sustainable
traditions for entrepreneurs in rural environment.
The study visit
in Kaunas was attended by the representatives of education institutions from
Italy, Turkey, Austria, Romania and Lithuania. The attendees were interested in
the SUSTRADER project idea - the emergence of new social and environmental
concerns, and the new approach to rural areas: safeguarding the environment and
balancing ecosystems, preserving natural resources, and promoting traditional,
high-quality, and profitable products. Short project presentation was closed
with further discussion about future collaboration perspectives and continuous
exchange of learning experiences in reviving rural communities and territories
SUSTRADER project introduced to international
ATHENA team
During training week at Kaunas Science and
Technology Park, SUSTRADER project was introduced, highlighting best practices
identified in Spain, Slovenia, and Portugal, that are strengthening sustainable
entrepreneurship traditions in rural environments.
Business support partners from 8 EU countries
have met in Kaunas STP for short-term training courses for trainers about
supporting entrepreneurship in Covid-19 era, specifically digital and tools.
ATHENA consortium aims to improving digital tools and methods for boosting
women entrepreneurial skills in Covid-19 era. Short SUSTRADER project
presentation was closed with further discussion about future collaboration
perspectives and continuous exchange of digitalized business solutions, that
are relevant to today's entrepreneurial communities
SUSTRADER project presented at the conference
“Entrepreneurial and Happy. Towards Sustainability”
On the 11th of October SUSTRADER project
was presented at the female conference “Entrepreneurial and Happy. Towards
Sustainability”. The conference gathered more than 100 participants, who were
willing to gain new knowledge about the sustainability, and explore other
national and international good practices:
- ü how to create an environmentally friendly business
- ü how to implement social responsibility
- ü how a sustainable business should be managed
- ü how to ensure the interaction between environmental protection,
social responsibility and corporate governance in a company
The conference inspired to take a fresh
look at the future of business.
